Qaidah Group Syllabus
1. Surah Memorization
Students will memorize the following Surah with correct pronunciation and understanding:
- Surah Al-Fatiha
- Surah Nas
- Surah Falaq
- Surah Al-Ikhlas
- Surah Lahab
- Surah Nasor
- Surah Kafiroon
- Surah Al-Kawthar
Taught with Tajweed, meaning (optional), and daily recitation practice.
2. Masnoon Duas
With meanings and proper pronunciation:
- Dua before sleeping.
- Dua after waking up.
- Dua before entering the toilet.
- Dua after leaving the toilet.
- Dua before eating.
- Dua if you forgot to say Bismillah before eating.
- Dua after eating.
- Dua after sneezing.
- Dua after wudu (ablution).
- Dua for leaving the house.
- Dua for entering the house.
Each dua is explained with when and how to use it in real life.
3. Hadith Memorization (1–10)
From the book “Hadith Light for Little Hearts”
Students will memorize and understand 10 short, authentic Hadiths focusing on:
- Truthfulness
- Respecting elders
- Speaking good or remaining silent
- Loving others for Allah
- Cleanliness
- Intention
- Mercy
- Helping others
- Trust
- Greeting with Salam
Taught with simple explanation and daily life examples.
4. Basic Fiqh (Islamic Knowledge)
- Five Pillars of Islam
- Six Articles of Iman (Faith)
- How to perform Ablution (Wudu)
- How to perform Ghusl (Bath)
- Names and times of 5 daily prayers
- Fardh (obligatory) acts of Salah (inside and outside)
- Salah practice (position, movement, and recitation guidance)
- And more as students capability.
Taught step-by-step with visual demonstration (if online), and practical evaluation.
5. Full Qaidah Reading with Proper Pronunciation (Tajweed)
- Arabic letters and their forms
- Harakat: Fatha, Kasra, Damma
- Sukoon, Madd, Tanween, Shaddah
- Joining letters and word practice
- Qalqalah, Ghunna, Ikhfa – basic Tajweed
- Fluency training in reading Arabic text
- Preparation for Juz Amma recitation
Daily lesson from Qaida (page by page), with teacher correction and practice.
6. Expected Outcome
By the end of the course, the student will:
- Be able to read Arabic script fluently with correct pronunciation
- Have memorized essential Surahs, Duas, and Hadiths
- Understand basic Islamic knowledge and daily practices
- Be prepared to begin Juz Amma/Quran recitation confidently
